College Jésus-Marie de Sillery's library

Collège Jésus-Marie de Sillery is a private school in Québec City, offering instruction from pre-school through high school. In this project, LEMAYMICHAUD adapted the existing, complex architecture of the school’s library to create two distinct, technologically up-to-date libraries for its primary and secondary school programs, with study spaces and lounge areas for each. The windows in the open area afford pleasing views of the out-of-doors while bathing the libraries in natural light. With their colourful, comfortable, custom-designed furnishings, these spaces provide a versatile, youthful, modern learning environment that responds to the needs of the students it serves.
