Auberge Saint-Antoine

The Auberge Saint-Antoine is a luxury boutique hotel housed in a unique set of heritage buildings in Québec City’s Old Town. When the owners commissioned LEMAYMICHAUD to design a gym and spa for this facility, we did so in a way that enhances the architectonic values of the site.

From the moment we began developing the concept, we focused on simple lines, plain materials, and muted colours. We chose subdued lighting that picks up the textures of the rubble stone walls, and added concrete that helps gives the fitness centre a hushed ambiance. Throughout the project, we supervised construction activities so as to minimize their impact on guests and staff and enable the hotel to keep running smoothly.
