LEMAYMICHAUD is rising up to the challenge! We’re preparing for the 8th edition of the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie’s 1000 km from June 16th to June 19th 2016. Teams of 4 to 5 cyclists taking turns, will bike 1000 km in 60 consecutive hours. ‘’Travelling from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean to Montréal. Seeing Québec and many other cities across the province where stops are scheduled. That’s what the 1,000‑km event is all about.’’
This year, our experienced and commited cyclists will be Louis-Philippe Baillargeon, Alain Lemay, Louis-Joseph Papineau, Guillaume Lemoine, Pierre Mierski et Alain Morin. In addition to the 1000 km, our team is sponsoring 3 elementary schools that will receive all of the additional donations collected, in order to finance their projects promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Last year, our team (ALT Hôtels / Cominar / LEMAYMICHAUD ) arrived first in the donation prize list having collected the impressive amount of 117 705$ for their sponsored schools. Congragulations and the best of luck to everyone!
