Windigo Resort Hotel

LEMAYMICHAUD developed a concept for the implantation and the layout of a large scale resort hotel and also participated in the definition of the project situated in the Baskatong reservoirs. The project included reception buildings, accommodations and support buildings, the circulations areas and also the surrounding paths. The concept was to emphasize our Northern forests, to get them discovered while at the same time to keep them protected.  We then worked at minimizing the lighting at night, camouflaging the parking lots, install a belvedere look-out point together with trails and paths, wooden cottages, dining areas so that the ensemble of the project would blend perfectly well into this majestic landscape.
