Le Local Restaurant

Le Local restaurant is located in the old industrial district of Montréal. It was essential for LEMAYMICHAUD to emphasize the space, to preserve the nature of the building while bringing value to it. This was the core of the design, and concept of the restaurant. The kitchen is an open area to the dining room, the brick walls were left exposed, and the ceiling was left stripped. Two large skylights provide the interior of the restaurant with natural light, therefore the industrial features of the building was used to develop the design.
